Security

FloorIQ is operated by Joseph Gillespie. Your quotes, jobs, payroll and accounting records are the backbone of your business, and we treat them that way. This page explains, in plain language, how your data is protected.

Your company’s data is isolated

Every company on FloorIQ gets its own walled-off workspace. Quotes, projects, customers, employees and financial records from one company are never visible to another. Access rules are enforced by the database itself on every request — not just hidden in the interface — so there is no screen or link that can show another company’s data.

Role-based access

You decide who sees what inside your company. Owners, admins, estimators, foremen and office staff each get their own level of access, and you can switch entire sections of the app on or off per company. Passwords must meet minimum strength requirements, and sensitive actions are checked on the server, not just in the browser.

Encryption and hosting

All traffic between your device and FloorIQ is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and your data is encrypted at rest. FloorIQ is hosted on cloud infrastructure whose providers maintain SOC 2 certification, so the physical data centers, networks and managed services underneath the app are independently audited.

Your data stays yours

You can export your projects, quotes, customers and financial data at any time from inside the app. If you cancel, your workspace becomes read-only so you can still export everything — we never hold your records hostage.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Paddle, our payment provider. Your card details never touch FloorIQ’s servers — they go directly to Paddle’s secure checkout.

Reporting a security concern

If you believe you have found a security issue, please email joe@flooriqcrm.com with the details. We investigate every report.
