Run every flooring job from bid to final invoice
FloorIQ replaces the spreadsheets, whiteboards and shared folders your team uses today. Bids, quotes, purchase orders, warehouse inventory, crew scheduling, invoicing and job profitability — one platform, your branding, your company’s data kept entirely separate from everyone else’s.
No credit card required to start. Cancel any time. 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans.
The bid board: every invitation with its GC, due date and dollar value. Figures shown are examples.
The two things that cost flooring contractors real money
The material didn’t show up, and the crew did
A mill pushes a delivery two weeks, nobody tells the scheduler, and four installers spend a day at a site with nothing to install. The trade data puts a lost crew day at $800–$1,500 — and it happens because the delivery date lives in an email and the crew schedule lives on a whiteboard. In FloorIQ the crew day is attached to the purchase order it depends on, so when the PO date moves the schedule flags it.
You find out the margin after the job closes
Bid in a spreadsheet, material on a PO in someone’s inbox, labor on timesheets, change orders in a text thread — so the real number only appears at closeout, when it’s too late to do anything about it. FloorIQ posts cost against the job as it happens and shows margin versus bid while the job is still open.
Everything a flooring contractor actually needs
Purpose-built for the way flooring work is bid, bought, installed and billed — not a generic contractor CRM.
This is what it looks like
Screens from the app. Job numbers are examples, the layout is the real thing.
| Phase | Scheduled | % Comp | This period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mobilization | $18,000 | 100% | $0 |
| Warehouse floor prep | $74,500 | 100% | $12,400 |
| LVT install — office | $96,200 | 70% | $28,900 |
| Base & transitions | $41,300 | 20% | $8,260 |
One job record from award to closeout
Contract value, billed to date, cost to date and margin versus bid across the top. Underneath: the schedule of values for progress billing, change orders, the punch list and who is on site this week.
| Item / lot | On hand | Allocated | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| LVT Oak 5mm — lot 88213 | 4,120 sf | 3,300 sf | OK |
| Carpet tile Slate — lot 77104 | 980 sf | 980 sf | Reorder |
| Adhesive XL-90 (5 gal) | 26 pails | 18 pails | OK |
| Rubber base 4" charcoal | 640 lf | 600 lf | Reorder |
Material by roll and lot, allocated to jobs
What is on hand, what is already allocated to open jobs and what is under the reorder point — so you stop re-buying pallets you already have in the rack and stop promising material that is spoken for.

Who this is for — and who it isn’t
Built for
- Commercial flooring contractors bidding through general contractors
- Shops carrying material in a warehouse by roll and lot
- Teams of roughly 3–50 people: estimators, PMs, warehouse, foremen
- Contractors billing on a schedule of values with change orders
Not built for
- Residential-only retail showrooms — there is no point-of-sale, no sample-check-out and no consumer financing. QFloors or FloorZap fit that better.
- Solo installers doing one-day residential jobs — at $250/month most of this would sit unused. Werx at about $49/month is the honest recommendation.
- Replacing your ERP or your accountant — FloorIQ exports to QuickBooks, it does not become it.
- Other trades. It only does flooring.
FloorIQ is built and run by Joseph Gillespie. It exists because the flooring side of a construction business was being run out of spreadsheets, a whiteboard and a shared drive, and nothing on the market covered the bid, the material buy and the margin on the same job record.

Where FloorIQ is right now
FloorIQ is new. We are not going to put fake logos or made-up numbers on this page, so here is the plain version: the software is live, it is built and run by Joseph Gillespie, and the first flooring contractors are onboarding now. If you want to talk to the person who wrote it before you trust it with your jobs, email joe@lbjllc.com — you will get him, not a support queue.
Start on the free plan, run five real jobs through it, and decide from what you see. Paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Schedule a demo with the founder
Thirty minutes, screen shared, no sales team. Bring one of your real bids and Joseph Gillespie will build it in FloorIQ with you — quote, purchase order and margin — so you can judge it on your own job instead of a canned demo.

Questions people ask before they switch
- Will this actually handle flooring, or is it a contact list with a flooring logo?
- It handles flooring. Quotes are built from your material costs and labor rates by classification; material is received and tracked by roll, lot and dye lot; progress billing runs off a schedule of values with change orders; purchase orders go out to your mills and distributors with acknowledgements and price variance. There is no generic 'deal' object anywhere in it — the record is a job.
- Does it import my takeoff, or am I re-keying everything?
- You are not re-keying. Export your takeoff from MeasureSquare (or any tool that saves .xlsx, .xls or .csv) and upload the file on the quote — FloorIQ reads the rows straight into takeoff line items, then your material and labor rate libraries price them. What is not there yet is reading MeasureSquare's drawing files directly; the spreadsheet export is the bridge. If a direct diagram link is the deciding feature for you, email joe@lbjllc.com and say so before you buy.
- Who migrates my data?
- We do, on any plan, not just Enterprise. Send your customer list, vendor list, item/price list and open jobs as CSV or Excel exports and we import them for you at no charge. Most shops are moved over in a couple of days. Nothing is deleted on your side while we do it.
- Do I have to run it in parallel with QuickBooks and enter everything twice?
- No double entry inside FloorIQ — the quote becomes the job, the job becomes the invoice. For accounting, FloorIQ produces invoices, AR aging, vendor bills, general ledger and payroll exports as CSV that you post into QuickBooks. There is no live two-way QuickBooks sync yet.
- What happens to my data if I stop paying?
- Your workspace goes read-only at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you can still open and export every record. Nothing is deleted or held hostage. Paid plans also carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Is my company's data separated from other companies using FloorIQ?
- Yes. Every record is scoped to your company at the database level and enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface. Nobody outside the users you invite can read your jobs, prices or customers.
